The Yavapai County WIC Program prides itself on the recent changes in their food package. The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is promoting healthier eating by including fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain foods such as whole wheat bread, brown rice and corn tortillas, and switching to low-fat milk. WIC participants will still receive many of the other foods they have received in the past.
