Mission
“To provide a quality and safe environment for our customers and employees, and demonstrate stewardship of the physical assets of Yavapai County.”

Vision
“To meet the increasing demands of a rapidly changing environment and provide services in a proactive, responsive, cost effective and service-oriented manner that parallels and supports Yavapai County’s strategic plan.”

The Yavapai County Facilities /Parks Department provides the following services to more than 41 County owned buildings totaling over 600,000 square feet: Yavapai County Buildings & Offices

  • 24 hour response to building and maintenance emergencies 
  • Switchboard operations, routing calls for all departments  
  • ADA Title II Accessibility Compliance 
  • Electrical, plumbing, HVAC preventative maintenance and repairs 
  • Coordinate tenant improvements, remodeling and renovations 
  • Contract management - Bids and proposals for:
               •  Construction and material
               •  Pest control 
               •  Special services
               •  Elevators 
               •  Carpet and floor coverings
     
  • Custodial services 
  • Grounds maintenance 
  • Fire safety and suppression equipment 
  • Indoor environmental control systems 
  • Departmental moves 
  • Payment and monitoring of all facility utilities 
  • Oversees Yavapai County parks and assists various community managed "parks" 


We care for and maintain the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza and work closely with the Prescott Downtown Partnership Off-site link  who manages all activities, schedules summer arts/crafts shows and events along with the Prescott Chamber of Commerce Off-site link who sponsors the annual Christmas Parade and Courthouse Lighting.
