Mission Statement:   To enhance the safety and well-being of our community through reducing substance abuse offenses by providing treatment and education that will encourage, support, and empower offenders to effect positive changes in their lives.

Description:   This voluntary program is for individuals who have pled to a second offense for possession of illegal drugs and have no history of violent offenses. The program’s length is a minimum of 15 months. Participants enter the program by post conviction and are placed on Drug Court probation with the standard conditions of probation and certain conditions specific to Drug Court. The Drug Court Team integrates intensive judicial supervision, mandatory random drug testing, and rewards and sanctions to help substance-abusing offenders break the cycle of addiction and the criminal activity that accompanies it.
