 The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service(FSIS) has announced that approximately 1,257,000 pounds of ready-to-eat varieties of Italian sausage products, including salami are being recalled by Daniel International, Inc. due to a possible risk of salmonella contamination.  Members of the public are encouraged to attend the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting being held on February 3, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fair Street Board of Supervisors hearing room regarding the Williamson Valley Community Plan.
